. . .they do variants of the same casting well. Came across these two #28 tractor shovels, still in use.
Marked “Lesney Product, 1978, Made in England, Superf ast”
The Caterpillar branded one has some sweet cross hatching on the fender. Unmarked one has a cool red colored bucket.
And here is a contemporary Hot wheels, marked “Mattel, 1977, Hong Kong,” with no model name.
